Повторюсь, что не вижу криминала в появлении file-roller 2.9.0 раньше
срока, потому что он мало отличается от 2.8.х. Из нового только переводы
и поддержка 7zip, которой мне хотелось. Остальное - исправления ошибок
вроде "Does not properly extract files with special characters in
filenames from tar files." или "make text invisible for the password
entries".
Криминал в том, что документация к нему устарела, а инструмента для ее
нормального обновления до сих пор нет.
