Процитирую немного RPM(8):

--short-circuit
  Skip straight to specified stage (i.e., skip all stages leading
        up to the specified stage). Only valid with -bc and -bi.

Однако и для -ba и -bb ключ --short-circuit работает. Ман что-то
недоговаривает?
