На ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/people/ed/ выкладывается 2.6.1-alt4 и всё к
нему причастное.
Основные изменения:
работает framebuffer в консоли,
добавлен splash,
обновлены dm и evms.
в bootloader-utils убран хак с vga=normal.
в headers-common добавлен линк на asm-generic
в headers-modules находятся поправленные Makefile`ы и утилиты
для сборки модулей.
Теперь, если Makefile модуля написан по правилам:
/usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.6.1/Documentation/kbuild/makefiles.txt
то его сборка представляет собой команду:
%make_build TEMP_DIR=$PWD/ O=./ -C /usr/src/linux-%{kversion}-%{flavour} modules SUBDIRS=$PWD
По поводу bootsplash. Патчи и к 2.4, и к 2.6 версии 3, а userspace
поддерживает только 2-ую. Есть причины по которым не обновляется
bootsplash или про него просто забыли?
PS. service nvidia_glx c 2.6 не работает.
