А не-майнтейнеру стоило бы поинтересоваться уже проделанной
работой -- не только repocop, но и по времянкам тоже; например,

Прибивать лишние процессы к libsystemd, не полюбовавшись
её зависимостями после чашечки кофе -- считаю глупым.
Всё больше сваливаться в очередной клон шляпы --
значит потерять смысл существования.
Редхат стал редхатом не повторяя за другими,
а создавая то, чего не было.
