Тут как: в зависимостях есть mkimage-profiles, а при отсутствии
(на сейчас прибитого гвоздями) ~/mkimage/mkimage-profiles оно
идёт смотреть в /usr/share/mkimage-profiles из этого пакета.

Проверь, что у тебя alterator >= 4.21 (тоже указан в зависимостях
вообще-то), и покажи -- возможно, в жабер -- вывод:
/usr/sbin/alterator-cmdline /mkimage/targets action list

Ничего, на этот случай уже к вечеру была прихвачена изолентой
обламывалка (а надо сделать переключение UI и настраивалку
hasher да советовалку запустить от пользователя).
