Не все используют udisks. Мне кажется вполне удобным иметь все скрипты
pm-utils в одном пакете, все-таки. А для отключения "лишних" хуков
способ с помещением файла в /etc/pm вполне удобен.
А вообще надо бы посмотреть внимательно на все эти скрипты, там может
что-то еще конфликтовать с работой power manager/udisks/upower.
Причем возможно, что разные power managers могут иметь разный набор
возможностей и вступать в конфликт с разными скриптами из pm-utils. Не
все же их выносить в отдельные подпакеты.
Совсем отказаться от использования pm-utils не вариант, это уж очень
удобный инструмент.
