Все можно. Но нужно ли?
Systemd не гадит в dmesg, и вежливо сообщает, что в такой-то программе
нет юнит-файла, и было бы хорошо это исправить. Обычное предупреждние,
не более того. Мэйнтейнер данного пакета не хочет/не может внести
нужные изменения в пакет, мотивируя тем, что сам не использует systemd.
Конечно не очень хорошо в дистрибутиве, где умолчанию systemd, не делать
такие (обычно) элементарных исправлений, но это не ошибка в пакете, на
работу это не влияет, и острой необходимости в такой правке нет.
Можете перевести систему на sysv, если очень хочется. Можете найти
подходящий unit-файл. Например, он может быть в более новой версии
софта, или в другом дистриубтиве. И помочь мэйнтейнеру, разместим файл
или ссылку на него в багзилле. В конце концов за 5 минут написать такой
файл самостоятельно, проверить на своей системе, что он корректный и все
работает, а потом уже разместить его в багзилле. Тогда больше шансов,
что пакет будет дополнен.
