Всем, доброго времени суток. У меня Alt Linux Compact 2.3, компилятор С
есть(cgg), а С++ нет
[stalcker@localhost SPECS]$ gcc
i586-alt-linux-gcc: no input files
[stalcker@localhost SPECS]$ c++
/usr/bin/i586-alt-linux-c++: No such file or directory
[stalcker@localhost SPECS]$
Скачал с сизифуса gcc3.2-3.2.3-alt3.src.rpm, делаю
[stalcker@localhost SPECS]$ rpm -ba gcc3.2.spec
gcc3.2.spec: No such file or directory
Полазил по архиву рассылки нашел объяснение что надо установить rpm-build
[root@localhost SOURCES]# apt-get install rpm-build
Пишет что, пакет есть в базе но не имеет доступной версии как следствие -
не может установить пакет.
Скачиваю rpm-build, и пытаюсь устанвить не получается из-за конфликтов с
несколькими пакетами в том
числе с rpm-build-perl-0.1-alt8. Вопрос - как выйти из ситуации, сносить
rpm-build-perl-0.1-alt8
и ставить rpm-build или может еще что-нибудь посоветуете.

Вам не нужно *ничего* из Sisyphus. Добудьте Compact Contribs и
пользуйтесь ими (лежит на ftp рядом с основным деревом).

Если у Вас "чистый" Alt Linux Compact 2.3, необходимо использовать пакеты из
contrib для Compact 2.3.
