Здравствуйте!
Изучив несколько статей и реплик в разных форумах на тему отображения
шрифтов и цветов MC (для создания своей "темы"), я пришел к выводу, что
количество цветов (поддерживаемых MC) для записи в mc.ini весьма
ограничено и меньше числа цветов, поддерживаемых Xterm. Например, darkblue
используется среди возможных цветов Xterm, а в mc.ini такой цвет не
поддерживается, по крайней мере у меня не получилось..
Можно ли как-то "заставить" MC понимать большее количество цветов?
И еще - почему при одной и той же цветовой схеме MC выглядит в Xterm и
Konsole по-разному? В Xterm шрифты с более яркими цветами выглядят жирно и
размазанно... и вообще цвета посветлее...

Читать man xterm на предмет color0...color15, boldMode, colorBDMode,
veryBoldColors. Настраивать ~/.Xresources.
