у меня, как Вы помните, похожие проблемы были с i845. Я стянул, установил,
не помогло. Вылечила установка драйвера с сайта Intel -
http://downloadfinder.intel.com//scripts-df/support_intel.asp, стянул
rpm-ку, установил, она ругнулась пару раз, НО проблемы исчезли. Хотя
шрифты стали выглядеть хуже
