Обновил ghostscript. Bjc600 так и не ожил, :(
а gutenprint v 5.2.4 работает правильно.

Вопрос в догонку: чтобы в apt не заменялся нужный ghostscript
правильно будет? -
/etc/apt/preferences
Package: ghostscript-cups
Pin: 9.00-alt1.M50P.1

В конфиге есть параметр Hold. Он именно для пакетов которые не нужно обновлять.
