Здравствуйте.
Имеется система на 5 бранче. При попытке дист-апгрейда, apt очень хочет
поставить пакет branding-altlinux-desktop-bootloader.
Но, при установке случается следующее:
branding-altlinux-desktop-booterror: unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/share/gfxboot/desktop: cpio: stat failed - Too many levels of
symbolic links
И, соответственно он не ставится. Такое поведение явно не нормально. В
багзилле этого компонента нет.
Так же, интересно то, что на соседней машине такого не наблюдается. Есть
мысли что это такое и как бороться?

В рассылке уже решалась эта проблема, вроде там две ссылки на себя
надо удалить (1-я - /usr/share/gfxboot/desktop, 2ю он при второй
попытке поставить скажет).

Спасибо, помогло. Там действительно тухлая ссылка была, удалил и всё
поставилось.
