Доброго времени суток!
Уважаемое сообщество.
На ALT Desktop 4.0 при установке принтера
у меня возник вопрос, который ни как не могу побороть.
Попытался через
http://localhost:631/admin
настроить (добавить) самый простой принтер --- HP LJ 4L
Все стадии настройки и добавления проходят успешно,
но при попытке в конце распечатать тестовую страницу
выдает сообщение
HPlJ4L "Unable to open parallel port device file "/dev/lp0": Permission
denied"
Посмотрел на /dev/lp0
# ls -l lp0
crw-rw---- 1 root lp 6, 0 Июл 19 2005 lp0
Попробовал поменять на
# chmod a+rw lp0
# ls -l lp0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root lp 6, 0 Июл 19 2005 lp0
Никакого положительного результата
:(
Подскажите, может у кого получалось и как разрешить схожую проблему
?
p.s.
Раньше всё работало (т.е. HP LJ 4L) еще с момента установки
но чёрт меня дёрнул --- захотел подключить еще Lexmark Z23.
Поставил по прописи
# rpm -ivh z35llpddk-2.0-2.i386.rpm
# rpm -ivh lexmarkz35-CUPS-2.0-1.i386.rpm
# killall -HUP cupsd
# /sbin/service cups restart
В итоге Lexmark заработал,
но HP --- отвалился
:(
Убрал взад всё что ставил, но HP теперь не могу привести в чувства
