Попробуйте Smart Boot Manager на дискете (если есть дисковод). Сделать
дискету, грузиться с нее, появляется меню, в котором выбрать CD-ROM.. Как
правило, если не срабатывала загрузка того или иного дистрибутива Linux
непосредственно с CD-ROM, то мне лично эта "волшебная дискетка помогала..
