Прошу прощения, может я не совсем по конкретике, но все же напишу - а
может все же icewm+Thunar+hal, или icewm+pcmanfm+hal? Первая связка у меня
работает на ура, четко как часы, я впервые в жизни могу совершенно не
волноваться и не дергаться за монтирование флэешек и не только их, а
практически всего многообразия носителей.. все четко, каждому свой
каталог, свое название, при отключении все исчезает, глюков нет.. Да, с
первой связкой придется доставить пару-тройку небольших пакетиков от xfce,
но на работу это совершенно не влияет.. Вставил флешку, запустил
thunar(или pcmanfm), появился пункт Том такой-то.. или название носителя
(Backup там, или название CD/DVD), либо щелкаем на иконке, либо пункт из
меню по правой кнопке мыши. После этого носитель доступен из любого
файлового менеджера по адресу /media/disk_ или /media/_НАЗВАНИЕ_..
Аналогично отключение - пункт меню Отключить.. Все!
Впрочем, если вам хочется добить это решение (ivman+pmount)..
