Доброго времени суток сообщество!
Заметил такую особенность в работе Writer
с векторными рисунками, в частности EPS
на разных платформах, т.е. Linux / Windows.
Суть проблемы в следующем.
1
Создаю файлы-графики EPS с помощью
gnuplot в Linux.
2
Вставляю их в документ ОО Writer
Вставка->Изображение->Из файла
(опять всё это происходит в Linux)
Всё прекрасно работает и распечатывается, тоже великолепно.
3
Отдаю товарищу (точнее в редакцию),
но
там Windows + OO (те же версии 2.2 /2.3, что и у меня под Linux)
Открывают файл а там пустой фрейм вместо графика

Может кто-нибудь прояснить почему так происходит
?
Отдельные EPS файлы нормально открываются и просматриваются (например, gv),
что в Linux, что в Windows -- отлично
К слову сказать, что и Word не воспринял EPS, а отделалася сообщением

не был включен его эскиз

Этот рисунок EPS можно
только на принтере

p.s.
Конечно, мне пришлось переконвертировать EPS -> JPEG,
но это уже не векторный формат
