Да должны сами. /etc/asound.state наличествует?
Попробуйте сделать alsactl store явно, выставив нужные значения.

Подскажите пожалуйста как сделать чтобы настройки alsamixer
автовосстанавливались(автосохраненные перед перезагрузкой) после
перезагрузки alt linux compact 2.3???
