Заглянул на страницу проекта kmail..:(
"The latest stable release is KMail 1.8, it is not available as a separate
package but it is part of KDE 3.4's kdepim package."
Что за любовь к слиянию всего и вся? И чем в этом плане Konqueror и kmail
отличаются от IE и Outlook Express? Да ничем.. хочешь kmail - ставь KDE..
Отдельно - ни-ни.. А вроде бы в ранних версиях kmail не был столь
интегрирован...
