Вот столкнулся сегодня установив Компакт на новом рабочем месте. Ничего
связанного со звуком не обновлял вроде.
Смотрю вывод lspci - вижу "High Definion Audio". Пишу в /etc/modules.conf:
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel
# достаточно ли этого, или нужен char-major ?
Далее modprobe snd-hda-intel и выкручиваю все ручки в alsamixer на
максимум.
Пускаю xmms (настроен вывод через ALSA), давлю "play". Звук играется
секунды полторы. Потом исчезает. Воспроизводится стабильно.
Гугление что-то не помогло.
Имеет ли смысл обновлять ядро/модули? Или нужны хитрые параметры модулю?
