Обсуждалось уже нечто подобное здесь в лохматом 2002-м, но решения не
нашлось, поэтому спрошу по новой. Может кто сталкивался с подобным.
Система: Мастер 2.4+updates+backports.
Перестал меня неожиданно xscreensaver пускать. Пакеты (сам он,
4.18-alt2.M24, и его хаки) - целые. Демон из ~/.xsession.d пускался как
обычно. При "xscreensaver-command -lock", возврат в систему становится
маловозможным. На верный пароль пишет в syslog: 'FAILED LOGIN <номер
попытки> ON DISPLAY ":0.0", FOR "evg"'. Заход с консоли и убиение
процесса дают либо перезагрузку иксов, либо сессию с нерабочей
клавиатурой (видимо что-то с фокусом).
Что делал в системе в последнее время? Тут два пункта:
1) Перенес систему со старого винта на новый. Переносил посредством cp,
огрехи потом вроде поправил (по rpm -Va). Кроме xscreensaver-а вроде
ничего плохого не наблюдаю.
2) Обновил libpcre3 и grep (6.х и 2.5.1-alt1). На время разборок с
xscreensaver откатился назад (4.5 и 2.5.1-alt0), изменений нет.
Что в логах? Вроде ничего подозрительного. Только xscreensaver ругается.
Почитал маны на него (так и не нашел включение режима отладки), нашёл
жалобы автора на битый pam. Ещё раз проверил всё около-pam-вое.
Погуглил. Ничего не понимаю.
