Купили пачку болванок dvd-R,
пишу образ:
growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd="1.iso"
Executing 'builtin_dd if=vid.mpg of=/dev/dvd obs=32k seek=0'
/dev/dvd: "Current Write Speed" is 1.0x1352KBps.
:-[ WRITE@LBA=0h failed with SK=5h/CANNOT WRITE MEDIUM - INCOMPATIBLE
FORMAT]: Wrong medium type
:-( media is not formatted or unsupported.
:-( write failed: Wrong medium type
и так на 3-х подряд болванках.
Что бы это значило. Болванки в топку?

Уточнение: на болванках из другой пачки (dvd +R) пишет нормально

Иногда подобные проблемы лечатся обновлением прошивки привода.
