Удаленнным пользователем ALD4.0 branch августовского разлива с cups 1.2.12
был куплен принтер HP p1005
Пользователь зашел на страницу hp и скачал hplip и что-то там установил.
Вроде как безуспешно. Что и как делалось я не знаю. Вроде как по
инструкции hp.
(я за это уже поругал, но дело сделано)
Затем я прислал два файла:
HP-LaserJet_P1005.ppd (извлек его распаковав HP-LaserJet_P1005.ppd.gz из
Альта 4.1 на своем ноуте)
и готовую прошивку sihpp1005.dl
которую удаленный пользователь из консоли под рутом установил в
/usr/share/foo2zjs/firmware/
после запуска команды # cat /usr/share/foo2zjs/firmware/sihpp1005.dl >
/dev/usb/lp0
принтер отреагировал радостным похрюкиванием.
После этого удаленный пользователь запустил http://localhost:631/
и под моим руководством установил на появившийся в списке device-ов
принтер hp`1005 присланный мною ppd файл.
(родного ppd в ALD4.0 не обнаружено).
Принтер установился, но попытка напечатать тестовую страничку не удалась,
а сам установленный принтер стал называться так:
hpP1005 "/etc/cups/interfaces/hpP1005 failed"
под ним
Description: home
Location: home
Make and Model: Local System V Printer
Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published.
Device URI: usb://HP/LaserJet%20P1005
Помогите установить этот принтер удаленному пользователю.

P.S. ПОЖАЛУЙСТА.
А то меня на том конце будут ругать: мол поставил Альтлинукс, а
в нем принтер не устанавливается
