Очень похоже, что у вас повреждение файловой системы НТФС (возможно,
вызванное и некорректным обращением к ней из Линукс). И Винда не может
(или не хочет) читать нужный файл. Очень может быть, что самым простым
выходом будет как раз то самое "нажать r".
А с апдейтом Линукса просто неудачно совпало.
