А есть ли еще живые люди, которые пользуются texinfo?
Так сложилось, что это у меня основной инструмент для написания текстов.
Используется для преобразования texinfo -> dvi и texinfo -> html.
Раньше все было хорошо. Но потом настало UTF-8... И тут оказалось, что
texinfo не умеет работать с UTF-8, по крайней мере мне его приручить не
удалось.
Выход был сделан такой. Мои texinfo-файлы имеют примерно следующие
заголовки:
\input texinfo @c -*-texinfo-*-
@documentlanguage ru
@documentencoding UTF-8
После этого makeinfo --html стало делать приемлемые html. А вот cyrtex -
ни в какую. Поэтому чтобы сделать dvi из этого файла он сначала
конвертировался в KOI-8, а потом запускался cyrtex.
Но вот недавно обновился у нас texinfo и проблем стало поболее...
Теперь в заголовках html-страниц, полученных из info-файла при помощи
makeinfo --html заголовки html-страниц, содержащие ссылки на следующуй,
предыдущий и родительский раздел стали выводиться в кодировке
ISO-8859-5, а весь прочий текст - в кодировке UTF-8. Пример здесь:

Это, наверное, бага. Но хотелось бы узнать - кто нибудь еще пользуется
texinfo и как он решает проблемы кодировок?
