Не ставьте VirtualBox rpm-пакетом, изготовленном для другого
дистрибутива. Возьмите с официального сайта бинарник для "All
Distributions":

Возьмите пакет kernel-headers-modules отсюда и поставьте его командой
rpm -ihv:

Обязательно нужен пакет kernel-headers-modules именно под ваше ядро.

Можете обновиться из branch 4.0 до ядра 2.6.18-alt12.
Но по-моему проще к существующему ядру поставить kernel-headers-modules.
