Мой опыт таков.
"Спасите!!! Я не знаю как вставлять страницы!!!"
Подхожу и ОДИН раз спокойно объясняю, заодно объясняя что такое колонтитул.
Более вопросов не возникает. Более того, смотрю в документах, начали "шапки"
в верхнем колонтитуле появляться итп. Т.е. колонтитулы более никого не
пугают и используются.
