В kde-settings > 3.5.8-alt1 и kdebase > 3.5.8-alt2 я сделал
некоторые изменения в умолчательной конфигурации рабочего стола и
панели. Единственный эффект у пользующихся -- отключение иконок
устройств на рабочем столе.
Включить обратно можно выполнив:
kcmshell desktopbehavior
В Значки устройств -> Показывать значки устройств
Попробовать новый вариант можно:
mv ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc~
dcop kicker kicker restart
Вернуть обратно:
mv ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc~ ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc
dcop kicker kicker restart
P.S.
Надеюсь, новый вариант всем понравиться. Просьба не ругать, за то,
что слямзено с Кубунты, т.к. вся соль в аплете сменных устройств на
панели, которого у них, как раз, не хватает. Остальное уже по
смыслу потянулось.
