О его "неудачности" уже говорилось ... Т.е. оно - просто неизбежное
зло на (десктопном) железе, где с другими ядрами все еще печальнее.
Для серверов 2.6.24 вообще не вариант за редким исключением.
Т.е. только GNOME? И никому оно не надо для branch/4.0? ;)
