Неофициальный форумы существуют. Как уже было сказано - linuxforum к
примеру.
А относительно обойти проблему "читать кучу писем" так это посмотреть в
сторону чтения рассылки через сервер новостей (gmain) . Выбираете клиент -
к примеру knode - в его настройках указываете сервер news.gmane.org ну а
далее думаю всё понятно - загружаются только заголовки, а читать или нет,
решение принимаете вы.
