так оно и будет стартовать
просто ip li никогда не показывал адреса!!! А ifconfig не видит
адреса, настроенные с помощью ip ad (так настраиваеются они в Сервер
4.0).

Если уж не представляете как устроена сеть в Линукс, то поверили бы
документации и проверили чем-либо типа ping, чтобы удостоверится что
адрес добавился и работает...
