Попробовал travelcd-rc6,
хоть и устарел, но все же:
1) ожидал, что сеть автоматом поднимется
(локалка, dhcp)
2) при монтировании внешнего раздела
mount -t ext3 /dev/hda9 hdd
пропадают имена директорий с кирилликой
3) KDE: по-прежнему неясно, где отключить обрезание длинных названий
папок на рабочем столе
