Для ядра 2.6 модули называются slamr для PCI/MC'97 и slusb для USB.
Как для 2.4 не знаю. Не получилось так, что у тебя грузятся ранние
модули, не те, которые ты компилировал?

Попробуй ttySLM0 - видимо последние версии slmodemd на него ориентируются.

В деревне интернет через спец-номер, 8w266-11111
Винда срывалась где-то на 2-й единице - похоже драйвер с ума сходил.

От этого должны зависеть задержки при наборе цифр, пауз, ожидании гудка
и т.д. И, кажется, чувствительность к шуму, напряжению и т.д.
Тип набора тоновый/пульсовый задается либо при наборе номера
(команда ATDT1234 или ATDP1234) - либо ставится умолчание (ATDP) а потом
набирается(-ются) номер(а) (ATD1234)
Впрочем, поскольку звонилки (тот же kppp) предпочитают ресетить модем
перед запуском (ATZ), второй вариант почти не применяется.
Но к настройкам на страну это никакого отношения не имеет (по крайней
мере не должно)
