Решил, для начала сделать простого XDMCP-клиент. Сиречь, заставить
обычную рабочую станцию (ALD 4.1)забыть про всё установленное локально
и при init 5, сразу выдавать приглашение с удаленной машины (в моем
случае имя удаленной машины - denis, а в качестве dm используется
kdm4).
Однако застопорился на ровном месте. Судя, по логике скриптов, нужный
параметр нужно прописать в /etc/sysconfig/xserver:
XDMCP_QUERY=denis
Однако он не срабатывает. Выяснилось, что в /etc/X11/kdm4/kdmrc этот
скрипт не используется. Заменить соотв. опцию ServerCmd=/usr/bin/X на
/etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc тоже не помогло. kdm4 показывает картинку с
авторизацией на удаленной машине, сразу же перезагружается, снова
подключается и так до бесконечности...
В логах клиента нашел такие строчки:
Jan 17 15:03:34 wks-secretar kdm_greet[8987]: Keyboard on display :0
could not be secured
Т.е. надо еще чего-то крутануть для полного счастья... Или всё намного проще...
