Знакомый купил HP 2133 Mini, жить с предустановленным Suse Enterprise
Desktop 10 SP2 показалось неудобным и решено было перекатить его на
Alt Desktop 4.1 с последующим обновлением из 5-го бранча. А сохранить
конфиги как-то не догадался.
Впервые проделал манипуляции по созданию загрузочной флэшки
(использовал для этого винт на 20Гб и переходник IDE-USB), провел
установку, некоторые моменты сразу настроил...
В целом, всё достаточно мирно и благополучно, но есть трудности с
настройкой графического режима. Начиная с того, что lilo не понимает
режим vga="0x314" и заканчивая тем, что никак не получается подобрать
монитор с разрешением 1024х600 (автоматически тоже не определяется).
И, видимо, вследствие этого глюкаво работает via драйвер.
Я нашел советы для убунты (например здесь:
http://www.hp2133guide.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1829), но хотелось
бы с одной стороны уточнить, насколько это актуально для альта. А с
другой стороны попросить добавить "мальчика" в список оборудования,
которое настраивается без бубна...
