Если сделать предварительную дефрагментацию раздела который хотим
уменьшить ( имею в виду виндявый раздел), потом отрезать от него
именно виндявыми средствами - типо акронис с сотоварищами, потом после
этого обязательно проверить том на наличие ошибок, то в общем то
можно, я так делал.
