Добрый день.
Каждые пять минут тухнет экран (не зависимо - в консоли я или в иксах) если не
нажимать кнопки или не двигать мышь. Как отключить (в консоли и в иксах)?

Если используете ALM2.4.
Для консоли:
В файле /etc/sysconfig/console/setterm напишите следующую
строку:
setterm -blank 0 -powerdown 0
(пишу по памяти)
А вообще почитайте man setterm.
Для X-ов, могу предложить в KDE сходить в Control Center ->
Power control. В других графических оболочках не проверял.
