Мне Michael Shigorin любезно высылал $hdparm -v ... и /proc/ide/via по этому
же вопросу, так отличия я нашел только в том, что у меня VIA vt82c686b, а не
...686a.
У меня проблема не решена до сих пор (тоже только в Win2000 можно без проблем
писать на ZIP), не очень приятно при загрузке дома выбирать систему из
соображений, нужен ли будет ZIP :-)
