В линукс пользователь не может писать в общесиистемные конфиги и
настройки хранятся в домашнем каталоге.
Поэтому если удалить программы настройки сохранятся, и если позже ее
установить заново то настройки будут на месте.
Поэтому-же, при "перекрученных" настройках "переустановка" сводится
практически к удалению настроек программы в домашнем каталоге.
Настройки kget, видимо, нужно искать где-то в .kde
