Доброе время суток!!!
Сталкнулся с тем что на сервера HP Proliant G380 не возможно
установить Master 2.2 по сетке (так как дистриб лежит только на фтп)
связано с тем что в загрузочной дискете отсутсвует драйвер для
сетевой карты tg3, пришлось поставить RedHat (увы не лучшый
вариант дистриба, но другого под рукой нет),
В RedHat это драйвер имется (специально проверил способность
установки по сетке, но при этом установил его с CD, таковой был
на руках).
В остальном все железо что находилось на этом серваке, зажило под
RedHat без шаманств (правда вот с Двухпроцессорностью там
похоже трабла, ядро выкидывало дамп и вешало сервер, остановился на однопроцессорном ядре).
Хотелось именно Master использовать,
но похоже без лишних телодвижений на сервер не залить.
Для разработчиков:
Можно как-нибудь вклучать все дрова для сетевых карт,
как это делает RedHat (в данном случае у нее эти дрова имеются
на второй дискете.)
в Мастере этот драйвер тоже имеется, но только в установленном
дистрибутиве.
