Может я и ошибаюсь, но что тогда выдаёт SVGATextMode -s, говоря
про 80x24x9?
Вообще мне нужны фонты, которые нормально бы работали на матрице
800x600 - ноутбук старенький и корявенький, а с русскими текстами
работать хочется...

Не, иксовые фонты мне вообще без пользы, на этой neomagic иксы
хреновенько работают... :(
Иначе бы я консоль и не пользовал - xterm всегда лучше.
