Хм, у меня он нормально отрабатывает снижение скорости до 8х
(мне больше и не надо ;-))) ) на Teac-W540, ide-scsi, dev/cdrom
- -> /dev/sr0, kernel 2.4.18, Slackware 8.1. При попытке поставить
отличную от 8х скорость имеем все равно 8х. ;-) Но отмена
ограничения скорости работает.
ИМХО, засада с hdparm (однако я где-то слышал, что в какой-то
версии он умел работать со SCSI) в том, что он пихает этот ioctl
в /dev/hd?. И закономерным образом обламывается в случае
ide-scsi.
