Когда-то на форуме ixbt проскакивало _похожее_. За давностью уже
не помню, что там для лечения перешивали: биос материнки или
firmware cd-привода. Запомнилось только, что материнка там была
на VIA и cd-привод из "народных-подешевше". После перешивки
заработало.
