Поэтому и задаю вопрос, что за девайс там сидит.

С ним более-менее ясно. Проблемы у материнки (BIOS или
неправильно прописан, возможно, кривой шлейф/чипсет) или ядра.

Именно поэтому и спрашиваю, что там за устройство.

Из приведенного dmesg (из первого письма, полного, который я не
стал дублировать), нет ответов на те вопросы, которые я задал. Я
же не телепат, чтобы из того, что в dmesg нет упоминания о том
же hda, делать выводы, а что же на самом деле.
