Какая BSD? Free/Net/Open? Если позволяет количество слотов, а
также хватит IRQ (тут могу ошибиться), то делается примерно так:
копируем конфиг ядра (в случае FreeBSD проконсультировавшись в
LINT по поводу потребных добавлений), правим (там нужно будет
раскомментировать нужные карты в случае Open/NetBSD или вписать
нужные строчки из LINT в случае Free).
В любом случае, по поводу *BSD гораздо грамотнее меня ответит
Андрей "lavr" Лаврентьев, довольно часто просматривающий форум
на http://www.opennet.ru. У него также есть страничка
http://unix1.jinr.ru/~lavr. Еще посоветую
http://peps37.ktk.ru/freebsd. Ну, и "канонические места":
