Еще как наблюдается, хотя в доках к 2.4 честно пишут, что интел
больше помог => pIII лучше поддерживается.
Хотя Transmeta и AMD вроде договорились насчет обмена
технологиями. Что-то мне это подсказывает ;-)

Насколько я помню changelog'и gcc, K6* занимался Jan Hubicka,
которого я лично очень даже уважаю уже за aalib.
