Хм. Так поколдовать и над src.rpm можно (распаковав вложенный
tar.gz, сделав патч, положив рядом и записав в spec).
Кстати, приходится комментировать unset RPM_BUILD_ROOT в одном из
спеков (NVIDIA_kernel.spec, кажется) -- то пришлось когда-то
ссать багрепорт насчет стрипанья rpm'ом (3.0.5+, точнее не помню)
одного модуля, в результате чего X вываливались с unresolved ...
-- теперь придется, похоже, писать багрепорт, что
"перестарались".
Знатоки тонкостей поведения разных особей rpm на воле,
откликнитесь -- как правильнее проверить угрозу принудительного
стрипанья rpm'ом? Там были workaround в виде chmod 000 и unset
RPM_BUILD_ROOT, но второе ни в какие ворота не лезет.
И как тогда этого стрипанья избежать? Ткните в спек...
