apt работает с ядрами по-особому: в отличие от других пакетов, которые она
обновляет (rpm -Uhv ), заменяя старый на новый, ядра она доустанавливает
(rpm -ihv ....;чтобы в системе одновременно могло быть несколько версиий
ядра). Поэтому ставить новое ядро нужно, например, так:
apt-get install kernel-up#2.2.19, может еще и -alt2 приписать.
А apt-get dist-upgrade тоже не видит новых версий ядер?
