Я тоже встречал -- после того, как портились файлы ее настроек в
~/.mozilla. (Это было что-то на XML или JavaScript; портились после того,
как на /home не оставалось места, и в это время была запущена Mozilla.)
Исправлял я это либо удалением всей ~/.mozilla, либо точечными
исправлениями файлов конфигурации. Еще проверял права на них.
