Именно DrakConf?
А у Вас случайно не работает еще и KDE-шный сервис интернациональной
клавиатуры (kikb, кажется)? Если да, то его надо отключить в настройках
KDE.
Если проблемы не пропрадут, то пришлите, пожалуйста, Ваши
/etc/sysconfig/keyboard и /etc/X11/XF86Config (или XF86Config-4).
