Нэ нада videogen. 1024x768@85 Hz - режим, определённый стандартом VESA, и
XFree86 4.* о нём прекрасно знают без костылей в виде ModeLine в конфиге -
эти ModeLine's прошиты намертво.
P.S. Хотя в XFree86 3.* была своя прелесть - когда понадобится
1024x768@100 Hz с четвёртыми X-ами всё равно придётся сделать открытие
этих самых ModeLine's, неприятное в плане того, что вовсе неочевидно
существование прошитых намертво, имена которых использовать низзя.
Поправьте меня, если я ошибаюсь.
P.P.S. До сих пор из-за неверия в генерируемые разными videogen'ами
ModeLine сижу в 1024x768@85 Hz, хотя монитор умеет @100 Hz. Причина - не
нашел двух генераторов, выдающих один и тот же ModeLine для этого, да и
других режимов. Need help! Монитор-то у меня один, и преждевременно сжечь
его кривым ModeLine не очень хочется.
